Check out our calendar to see our monthly events, which typically includes hosting live bands 2-3 Saturdays a month. They like to support local musicians and you’ll be able to enjoy a variety of music, such as classic rock, covers, the blues, jazz, 90’s, originals and more.
Also known to hold benefits, the Saxon Inn donates to causes they care about, like their Stroke Awareness benefit which is in its third consecutive year. Donations are also made to local citizens, Wounded Warrior Project (yearly) & the Alzheimer’s Association.Bar patrons enjoy the availability of an AMI jukebox, free Wi-Fi, a pool table and 5 flat screen TV’s to watch their favorite sports teams. Customers are respectful and likely to become friends with one another. The atmosphere can be intimate and at other times, full of cheer, especially on game days.
Both the bar and the dining room are smoke free.
The Saxon Inn makes homemade soups, with weekly specials… mostly being known for their Chicken and Dumpling Soup (complete from scratch). You’ll also find multiple other homemade items and several hand breaded items. Their jumbo, full sized, wings are typically served seasoned with their secret house made seasoning. Homemade wet wing sauces are also available. Appetizers, burgers, hoagies, steaks, salads & desserts are also included on their menu.
Featuring a gas burning fireplace, a flat screen TV and private doors to separate itself from bar patrons, the dining room is quiet and intimate. Along the walls you’ll see a variety of antiques, many of them once used by the owner’s family members.
Though the two largest tables seat six, the staff will gladly rearrange to accommodate a larger party. Parties of six or more are encouraged to call ahead for reservations. Note: depending on the day and events, availability of reservations may change.
